Please help with ATC
#1
HI, Guys im new to this forum and first time owning a bike. Yup, first time owner, and the choice was 1985 honda atc 110 for 90 bucks. It doesnt work correctly though. I have sacrificed to much my fingers in trying to start the atv which is leaving me with no skin on them....lol.....
Alright wont start and if it does it dies out in 2 to 3 seconds. I keep pulling and pulling, with choke and no choke with no luck. I am getting spark, carb has been cleaned but leaks from the end where the filter tube is connected. O, and it spits gas out from that end when the choke is on. What the heck is going on please help I want to ride this thing.

did you pull the jets out and clean them or did you just spray the carb completely assembled? if your knew to this and unsure about working on carbs the one you have is replaceable for about 60.00 brand new with a new style choke switch getting rid of the old cable. i have a 125 atc engine on a dune buggy for the kids to ride.

I would have to say make sure the carb is clean have you soaket it in carb cleaner while disassembled as there are small bleeds that get plugged
Next it sounds like it is trying to run
I would put a plug in when carb put back together
Next and possibly
Any idea what year 110 you are working on
As that will depend on the Ignition system you are working with
Look on cam side cover on left side if it says CDI
Cool
If not
You might need to check the points also
Have you got a manual
Good luck

Yea, taking the carb apart and soaking the pieces in carb cleaner (except the gaskets) helps a lot.
Mine didn't do as bad as yours, but before I cleaned it, it would die in like 2 seconds if i didn't have the throttle wide open.
