Actually i think 4 wheelers are more dangerous just because everyone thinks you can just ride it. So you have 7 year old boys jumping on a 450r ( i have seen it, maybe he was 10) and it works great until he finds out the bike weighs 3x more than him or more and that is the end of it. With a three wheeler you need to know how to ride to do most anything, but again it is about the rider.
And that is why i say a motorcycle is the safest because you have to be able to ride to make it go, and everyone who rides a motorcycle knows they are going to wreck that is a fact so they are prepared.

 

Huzah!!! Right, on people, trikes, are just completly differtent from quads, going from my quads to 250r or my girlfriend's beloved raced out 185 is the same change as jumping off my quad and on to our XR400, completly different and that is where people get hurt!!! The inablity to make the transition. Personally my lovely lady and I firmly belive that trikes are more fun and more interestion to ride!!!! I say people swing a leg over a 250r and see how deep you can take a corner and how well you can rock the boat!! The open desert guys should get that one.
