hey i just bought an 84 honda atc 250r, i was having an issue with the throttle sticking occasionally so i popped the top off the carb, now when i shove the spring down and twist it back on i have nothing but slack, its a twist throttle and when i twist it it doesnt return at all.
any help is much appreciated

 

Sounds like cable needs cleaned and lubed
Probably either dry or full of dirt
