battery

it should not freeze the battery. hurt is a relative term... it really is best to keep all batterys at a close to constant temperature. but no, its unlikely that it will hurt the battery.
if you are able to, move the wheeler into a heated place for the winter

If the battery runs down it can freeze, but it shouldn't freeze if you keep it charged up. I store my ATVs outside all the time and the only time a battery froze on me was when it was probably 5 years old and wouldn't stay charged anyway.

The cold will run it down, but since it is new all you will have to do to keep the battery up is to run your trike now and then (which is a good idea anyway) or hook it up to a trickle charger if you are really worried about it.
