Can someone measure the distance between the frame and the axle I just got this bike and it seems to sit lower than my buddies 86 200x I see that the swing arms are different. I don't see anything bent. When I lift up on rear frame it doesn't move much before it bottoms out so I don't think the spring is wore out.

The 86 200X has more travel totaly different
I had a 83 200X and next to my 86
I still have the 86
But I would make sure noone has changed the rear spring/shock assembly
Spring should be about 7-3/4" Shock is nitrogen charged
But by now if still origional probably needs rebuilt
I looked in my manual it does not say how much travel the rear suspension has
But it is less than the 86
Good luck
