Default Leaking carb

I searched the category and found that my problem might be from my float or valve needle. My question is why would I have gas coming out of the drain tube located on the bottom of the bowl? I have gas coing out of the overflow which makes sense but not the drain tube. I tried to tap on the side of the bowl to free up the float but it did not work. Could I be missing something else on the diagnoisis? Thanks in advance

If gas is leaking out of your drain tube then the drain screw isn't sealed shut..

Not always 185s. If your float is sticking it'll come out the drain hose. If your needle isn't sealing off it'll come out out the drain hose. Any 1 of the three thats all the reasons

Thanks I will take the carb apart, clean everything and see if it works. If not then I know that I will have to buy a carb kit.
