What is this part called? Is it called the chain adjuster? It is all jacked up so I want to buy a new one online. Where can I get the best deals on this part?

Thank You In Advance!

The frame serial number says the bike is a 1973 model ... The 1982 model uses different type chain tensioner ...

Here are the 2 years ..

this is available from parts unlimited also, go to your local powersports dealer and have them order one up for you, looks like list price is 24.95...... forgot to grab the part number though!

That is definately the chain tensioner off a 1973/74 model. Beatrice cycle also has the left side part for $24.99. I think the right hand side part with the shaft may be discontinued so you may have to look for a good second hand one
