Default 200s fouling and smoking

I have a 1986 200s and I am stumped. With a new spark plug it will run good for about 3 or 4 rides, but it smokes a lot, and then it fouls the plug.

I have tried to clean the carb, I have adjusted the valves, it has a new air filter and new oil in it, and it just keeps on smoking and fouling plugs.

I was thinking it either needs a smaller main jet to lean out the air/fuel mixture, or it needs a new top end.

What do you think?

When I pull the plug it is black and dry looking, and I have always been told a black wet plug means a rich mixture, but like I said, the plug is pretty dry.

Thanks in advance.

is it white or black smoke?

white= is burning oil

black= is running to rich

okay thanks for the input. Looks like I'll be putting in a top end kit.

Do you know of any cheap places for it besides denniskirk and rockymountainatv?
