Exclamation Drive Shaft Question (Big Red)

ok, on my 1985 Big Red 250ES, I recently fabricated a lift kit for it. I made my own bracket and welded it on the bottom shock holder so I raised the end of the bike around 2''. I heard from a friend that changine the angle of the drive shaft could make it break. It has definitely changed the angle , so Is it true? will my drive shaft break? because I really like the lift.

as with any lift kits and drive shafts if you lift it to high it will start to cause binding and premature wear and could cause brakeing. id be cautious.
