Default honda 200x confusion

ok i have 2 honda 200xs that i bought and i cant get either of them to idle. i made sure there werent any leaks in the intake asseblies. 1 is completly stock and the other has a full DG exhaust on it. Im pretty sure the carburators are stock. would i need a different jet? idk please help if you can. neither of them will idle!

Turn in the screw on the right side of the carb by the silde on the side. The screw has a spring on it. Dont turn it too far or it will rev really high.

On the pilot jet from the lightly seated position turn it out 2 1/2 turns then turn the idle screw to set the idle. If this doesn't work then try cleaning the carb if you haven't already.

The pilot jet or the air fuel mix screw?

Hmmm...ok so i cleaned and put the new parts in one of the carbs and it seems like something is sticking because when i move the wheeler around it will rev really high and stay there until i turn the idle screw down...also if i rev it it will stay at that rpm that i reved it to....still confused
