I recently bought a atc (never owned one before but have owned several atv's and dirt bikes.). It's a Kawasaki klt250, it's got no key and the wiring has been messed with. I know witch wire the previous owner said it was to turn it on and off with but I can't seem to get it to crank over (electric start), unless I ground out the battery charger and connect the battery charger dirrectly to the starter wire. and still doesn't want to start or even sound like its going to start. So my question is does any one know the color's of the two wires that need to be wired together to get it to crank over by pressing the button.

 

So I figured out witch wires are the two ignition switch wires. But still can't get it to crank over with the starter button. I'm begining to think that the starter button is bad.
