HELP!! Honda 110 weak spark.
#1
I recently bought a real nice 110 for my son but cannot get it to start. It has 160 psi on compression and nice fresh fuel to the plug, even hit it with starting fluid but nothin happens.Timing appears dead on. The spark will show up weak on the plug but will not jump the gap on my tester. If I test the alternator what kind of voltage should I see?? I tried a coil off of another bike but it was 12 volts and I'm not sure what the 110s voltage runs at.I think this is a 1985 model but not sure. Two wires come out of the generator and go to a voltage regulator where they then go to the coil via the kill switch, head&tail lamps.Any ideas would be really helpful. I'm going to check the output tonite....
