I'm looking for a cdi box for a '85 250sx , seems nobody makes an aftermarket igniter for this scooter ,the old one has a hiccup an needs a sharp tap every now an then to get it firing......I've found cdi's on line that have the same plug , but they don,t work on this machine......any suggestion?....thanx...Bob

i forgot to mention
use some automotive header tape and wrap the new cdi unit in it
( this will protect the cdi module from being cooked from the engine heat )

also switch your engine oil to SHELL ROTELLA T6 synthetic diesel engine oil
( it has 0 friction modifiers , lubricates better / better shifting / cooler running engine )
remember if the rotella can properly lubricate a high torque diesel engine , a small 4 stroke atv engine is a walk in the park for this oil

also start using 91 octane fuel / 87 octane fuel is bad for a air cooled engine runs too hot
