hi. question. I was wondering how to test the ohms on the coil on the stator. I've been touching the red probe to the post and the black to the mounting screw of the coil and I get a reading of about 195 ohms but I think specs is 200 to 400 ohms. is this the correct procedure. ty much.

thanks guys, put me a new stator coil on it readjusted the pulse generator and she fired right off, not bad for a junk yard find, total investment 100.00 now I got me a deer hauler.
