Just bought my first ATC 70, vin on one website says it’s a 1981. On another it looks like a 1980. Almost looks like a Honda left off the first three digits JH3 on my vin. If you add the JH3 to my vin it matches perfect to a 1981. I have no paperwork from the seller. Thoughts? Thanks for any help!! trying to complete California DMV paperwork to register it.
Yes it needs works lol ill clean it up and install a 140 in it.

I have a similar VIN. You ever find anything out? I'm assuming there are 2 VIN formats for '81 due to the 17 digit standard in '81.
