Is there anywhere you can race MX on a trike? I just bought one to help improve riding skills before I race quads but if I get good enough I want to try an amatuer race on my 85 250R but don't know if you can race them anywhere.

 

Theres nowhere that I know of buddy. Unless you ride on your own little private track with your own buddies. Otherwise theres nothing that I know of. I got a couple trikes too. I wish I could find somewhere to ride alittle MX. Good luck anyhow. Let me know if you find anything.

 

i ride MX on my 350x (very badly too.....shoulder hasn't been the same since).......but had a GREAT time......

ya know, i just wanna say that i really respect the guys that were racin 3 wheelers back in the day and ones that still too i guess. they were real bad asses i know i wouldn't be able to do good on a 3 wheeler i probably wouldn't have the guts to even go over a small double.

Here in NW Alabama there's an oval dirt track( for dirt track cars) with a few jumps on the infield. I don't consider it pure motocross or purely flattrack. The ATV's make a couple of laps around the oval, and a few across the jumps. There are 3 wheelers running there every now and then with an occasional seperate 3 wheeler class. I've been told that I can race my '86 TRI-Z against the 4 wheelers when there are no 3 wheelers to compete against.
