why do you think you need reed spacers to begin with? they don't do much if anything.justa waste of money.theres way better mods to do to a tecate then reed spacers.

I know but the carb isn't the original and it's a few mm too short. if it's bolted to the intake the airbox boot won't quit reach so I gotta find a way to back it up a little. boyesen doesn't make 'em and rockymountainatv can't get them either.

then take your reed cage to a local machine shop and ask them to make you one.it probably wouldn't cost but $20 or so.

killerkx327,

What type of pipe is that? Is it an LRD? Have you tried any other exhaust? How do you like it?

it's a sprock racing pipe. and the only other company that still produces a pipe is fmf.there are other pipes out there that you can find used and in good shape but this is the best pipe i've ever used.

thanks for the tip but I live in the sticks and nobody around here wants to touch it. I hate to ditch the carb b/c it's brand new, but it ain't doing me any good right now. anybody got a factory carb? this one is a 34mm mikuni like stock it's just not wide enough. here's a pic of my ride (one of 'em)
