I hear lots of things about different models of ATCs but never anything about the 250 Big Reds. I own one and would like to know if there is any possible way to get any boost in power. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

We recently finished hopping up an 85sx which has the same 246cc motor as your big red. We have a list of modifications on my page.

I know a couple of places that may be able to help . Mickey Dunlap at Four Stroke Tech still offers performance parts for the 246cc motor. The number is (814) 842-6159. Also James Lucky has camshafts for your motor and they also sell Cobra exhaust the number is (800) 233-2637.

I will say from experience that if you want torque from this motor go with a big bore kit. The one we installed delivers some serious torque.
