Go for a Honda 250sx. It's better than the other two for sport riding.

The 225 DX would be faster than a 200 big red. Woodo is right on with the 250SX idea. It is far superior to either of the other two mentioned and the parts are readily available for them. I have a 85 250SX I've had since new. In 17 years I think it needed a new throttle cable once and I changed the sparkplug once also. With minimal maintenance (regular oil change, clean air filter, and occasional valve and clutch adjustment) and they'll go for a long time.

i agree woodo also. the 250sx is a little heavier so it feals more stable on trails, gravel, woods...you name it. plus, in a heads up drag race, the 250sx will pull the 225dx(or dr, same but with reverse) by about 2- 3 bike lenghts. i races both my cousins dx and his dr and i beat the dx by 2 bike lengths and the dr by 3 bike lengths. so go with the sx, more stable, more power, more fun!!
