who has a cr500 powered atc, i almost do and i have ?'s
I may be wrong,but the cr500 motor may not be a good choice,because of no counterbalancer it will vibrate something fierce in a non-dirtbike frame. Even with rubber mounts to soak it up, you would end up with numb hands and rattling parts after just a short ride. Check with a dealer to be sure about the cr 500 motor, but for sure don't use any motor without a counter balancer to cancle out vibration in the frame.

i have a cr500 powered trike with over 500 hrs on it and it hasn't fallen apart!!!!! no broken parts or missing parts either,, kawasaki tecate and the tri z don't have counterbalance shafts!! it vibrates a little ! but its so fast you forget all about it too!! it takes a little more maintainence and up keep to keep her together , one of the hazards of blowing the wheels off every quad on the market today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yeah!!

vibration? what vibration. i rode it today for the 1st time. it is scary fast. check it out here. i go throught the process of building it.
