yamaha tri moto 125

Does any one know anything about the yamaha tri moto 125's. What were they origanly built for (racing,riding)?

yamaha tri moto 125

It was Yamahas Beginers bike.
They didn't offer many mods.
I had one years ago and I thought it was a great 3 wheeler.
Because it was a 2 stroke, It moved right along very well.
