Big Red in the mud?
#11
Three wheelers have the upper hand in mud, just this weekend we went on a ride, me on my trx250r, a friend on a raptor and my wife on her '84 atc125m. She ran circles around us.
I would follow her down a trail that looked as solid as pavement on her atc (no wheelspin at all on her trike), but when I tried to go through it I was about a foot and a half in black gumbo mud. We have to wrestle our quads out of the mud about 10 times. We ended up putting the 125m in low gear, getting a rope and towing the quads out with traction to spare.
The atc didn't even think about getting struck, and this is with 20 inch tires are around.
