If you want to be technical, you're right, the math does not lie....
350X @ 325lbs claimed dry weight / 27hp = 12.03 lb/hp
400EX @ 375lbs claimed dry wieght / 33hp = 11.36 lb/hp
The lower the number the better as far as power vs weight goes.
Does anyone else feel like smacking their head against the wall or is it just me?

That wasn't exactly directed at you, but I think we both feel the same - too many people in this thread not listening to reason... Yes, the 350X is a favorite ride of a lot of people including myself & a great machine, but -
Someone else put it best - it's like with muscle cars, the older they get, the faster they were....
