so this weekend we took a trip.

We started at whisky falls ( N 37°17.145' W 119°26.443 ) and drove off through the trails until we found trail 7S 83 ( possibly N 37° 18.972' W 119° 27.035' )and followed it downhill to start. About halfway on our journey we were run off the trail by 5 or 6 riders on large dirtbikes that passed us up and didn't even wait for a wide spot in the road, one of them ended up running in tree branches and getting one stuck in his rear tire and taking a dive. Can't people just relax and enjoy the ride instead of racing to a destination? We eventually arrived at Central Camp ( N 37° 20.966' W 119° 29.017' ) and took a short break.
Now i guess it was time to head on back to camp, but who wants to go back the same way? So we went off a different direction...... and we found Gaggs campground ( N 37° 21.663' W 119° 28.042' ) and some of the group used the restrooms. Then as we continued we found a VW Beetle about here ( N 37° 20.523' W 119° 27.206' ). Yup middle of nowhere in the mountains on a quad trail....
When we got back to camp we were tired and a little sore and racked up near 35 miles.

 

Glad you're in one piece. I hate it when people aren't considerate of others on the trails. One of my pet peeves is when you're on a wide open trail with plenty of room for the 2 way traffic and someone comes around a blind corner on your (right) side of the trail.

please let me know next time ya'll plan a ride? im looking for new places to ride. WHiskey falls, not that far i could travel too.
Also thinking about gathering a bunch of atv utv guys to do a barstow to vegas ride. Thanks Jason
