never tried a sand oveal, but my favorite riding is duning for sure... Got a trip this next wk end to St. Anthonys and a group ride of around 22 people from 5 states coming along. Should be a good trip.I just scored on a almost brand new Durablue sway bar and MX radial for my fronts for 200.00 last night..../im thinkin I got a pretty good deal since both are like new condition.....

I was there a week ago and the fastest one was 96mph (I.E.pike peak). The rest of us go avg. of 80-85 on the straight away. I ride my ds650 about 80's. the races not including pikes peak is on a avg of 3-4 miles of switch backs up steep dirt roads. I usally cover a 3.5 mile race around 3:40mins.

In Western Ky i run the Steve Nace flattrack series which consist of short track and TT's at each event, there are 25+ races in the outdoor series. There are bike and quads races. the track are in small areas with the TT course using most of the short track. Nace is putting on the final ST and TT for AMA this year about an hour from my house. My 10 year old races a modified Polaris 90 Predator and i race a highly modified Polaris xplorer 400 and when we are not racing - check the tires- and trail ride. At the smaller tracks i only hit between 50 and 55 mph on the straights but at the big 3/8 mile tracks i top out at around 83mph when i have the race tires on. There are alot of out-state people that come to the races- the tracks are usually preped very good- they have to be for me to power slide my big slug around the track. My son runs the 85cc class TT's and i usually run the 35+ TT's or open am TT. Check Steve's web site out,http://www.stevenaceracing.com,
later

I am trying to put together a class for the minis this year. I got my Daughter out ther just to run the track on a racing night to see what kind of responce she would get and they all loved it! Now it sparked some interest. My 9 year old and 5 year old done a Quad Wars event this last year at monster Jam and had a ball. I have a pic of here in my profile pics and and album of the the whole Quad Wars series... I have never raced a 6 gear track before. I bet that would be a rush!!! I DO know that we have a new Arena being biult as we speak for thi sfall racing so it will be interesting to see how much BIGGER it will be.....
