I am up for it. I never raced desert but it seems worth a try. I need more info. Where is this place. I live in Ontario so how far would it be from me. How long is the race and what is the course like? Would I need a bigger gas tank. I raced the Adelanto GP and still had a quarter left in the stock tank. I have bigger tires. I am an MX guy so help me out with some tips.

i'm not sure how far lucerne is form where you live but i'll find out for you,
the course may be from 8-12 miles long, maybe longer or shorter, we run for 1 hour....so however many laps you can do in under an hour...the course on saturday will be the smoothest because quads go first and no one will have raced on it before..courses are pretty fast rocky stuff..some hills, nothing too hard...its a two day event if you want to race both days...I'm not sure if you would need a bigger gas tank. you run a big bore 400ex?...if so you might, we only run an hour....you can always do what some peple do, strap a gatorade bottle full of gas up to your bumper...hey ed get cory to come out too lol..i was trying to get him to come out and race...and we need expert riders..so if you guys want to sign up as experts go right ahead...Also you would need ama mebership, and you have to sign up for the district..which is like 30 bucks for ama and 20 for district..plus entry feees...call me if you need more info...661 266-0903....if you know anyone else who would do it, let me know....

its about an hour and 1/2 unless you are pulling a big toy box. it only takes me 2 hours towing my trailer and i live in anaheim. definatly come out to the race. you'll have a blast!
i have a desert tank on my 400 and never came close to using it all. but my 450 i am not sure how thats going to work. i am thinking about caring a small amount of fuel just in case. that or do a pit stop and take a splash of gas.
