Cornering Technique...

Selector,
We will have to get together some time at the dunes or Knolls. Looks like you are into quads like me. And your wife rides, so does mine.
Anyway, the best thing I added to my quad to help with what you are talking about was the pro pegs. I have the ac pro peg bars, but a peg extender or those roll design pegs would really help. Having the extra space to apply the leverage of your foot is big for me.
But also to answer your question, I think it is to be expected to some degree.

Anyway, I'm game - just need to plan ahead. I get Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings "off" from kid patrol. The "boss" has Tuesdays and Fridays - she needs it more than I do. I usually leave very early Saturday morning and try to get home no later than noon. Thursday evenings are pretty much wide open. I can get out of work with enough lead time (a week is good).
Let's do it soon.

We have a pretty good group of guys and wives that love riding with theit kids too. Espicially at the Knolls, its really easy to keep your eyes on the kiddies there. Plus its easy for them to cruise around the flats. I am off to Lake Powell tomorrow for a week. I am trying to go to the dunes on the weekend of the 13-14 somewhere in there. Ill get with you when I get back.
De Risi racing has some extenders for $15 .

Oh yeah, they have everything from salt flats, super hard, to sand flats...You have never been there? They have a series of dunes, gnarly hill climbs (rocky), bush dodging desert trails, and flats. Its great for kids and learners, but you can still challenge your self there too.
I will be in touch with you next friday.

I had that problem on my 450 also I got some peg extentions from FantomZ ATV (dot) com. I don't mean to addvertize but the things are great they are wider and longer and mount right over the stock pegs for like $80.00
witch is better than buying propegs for $200+
So how do you like the cam mod and the 13.1 pistion? I was thinking about doing that to my 450 but just wanted to hear some feedback on the mod. I was thinking about getting the HMF pipe.
As for performance what do you think over just having the baffel out and lid off?
