i've ridin quads for about a year now and i want to start racing but i'm kinda concerned cause every track that i found or my friends built in the woods, they have been hard as ne thing to do cause they obviously were'nt up to standard but i'm kind of worried because of jumps( i can do them but still kind of nervous) and whoops sections. Can someone please help, thanx.

Roll the jumps until your comfortable with them. Start on easy ones, and build up to jumping and landing it. Make sure you don't let off the gas on the face or you will nose dive.
On the Whoops get as far back as you can and slowly go though them. Going faster each time. Make sure your suspension is up to it and adjust as necassary to get though them smoothly.

Like smitty said...just work up to it...anyone that clowns on a beginner at the track up here gets T'd in a corner or knocked into the pond.
Go out on a practice night and just build up your confidence in your ability...you can do it...may not be as fast a Jeremiah Jones the first night out, but I'll bet as long as you ride within your limits you will enjoy yourself

i raced for 19yrs & these guys are right on the money. the more time you have on a track the better you will get. everything will get easier as you get more experience the main thing is stay within your capabilities & have fun & dont get discourage because people lap you or pass you ive seen more rookies get hurt by getting mad about someone lapping or passing them and tring stuff that they're not ready for be safe & have fun & good luck

Sounds like a good way to start out.

i agree with you raptorjay everyone starts at the beginning but unfortunetly some people are idiots & forget they were rookies at one point too. the is one thing i love about racing in ohio everyone that raced atvs stuck together regardless if we knew you or not unless you were an idiot then you were kinda blackballed. i wish it was that way everywhere.
