Default Flat track tire HELP

Ridley and Whitbread are both on the money in my opinion...after two seasons of flat tracking.......running on Amercian racing 23's(rears) on most tracks, and 33's(rears) on a couple of the larger tracks (1/4 mile)...never wore a tire out in the two seasons.....and the fronts(33's) had only about 50% when we started...maybe 45% when we finished. Rims on the other hand........

Had some Hoosiers too....but it was not a fair comparison as they were older and narrower.....by the end of the season everyone running up front was on American Racing tires (and even some of us who weren't lol)

As far as front tires go I would not go with anything too knobby, If you have too much bite in the soft stuff or the ruts you may get pretty squirrely. Treaded tires wont hold the hard pack like the racing tires, and will get you out of shape quicker when you are off the beaten path.
