We just had a new indoor track open here in nothern Indiana and they charge $40 for a years membership and $40 to race the "B" class and $50 to race the "A" class. Its $25 a day just to practice, but its the only indoor track in the state so I guess you have to pay to play.

hey this is a little off the subject of the moto dome, but if any of you are close to Minnesota and are interested in Ice racing, there is an Ice oval race in Strathcona, MN this coming Saturday. Strathcona is located about 25 miles north of Theif River Falls, on Hwy 32. If you are interested in coming, reply on here or email me at lsather@wiktel.com and I will get you all the info you need.

sounds like it'd be fun, but the quads not prepped for ice, I'd make it so but I'm super poor right now, sorry it sounds like fun.

Is anyone gonna race there on the 11th of jan 04?

I just found out about the moto dome and it is 2 hours away from me. I would go for sure if it was just open practice but I am not sure about racing I havent ridden in months other than just playing in the snow. What is the competition like? what is the track like? jumps?? any info would be great..

Thanks
Mike

Mike,

What class do you run?

You can see some pics at www.motocityraceway.com There is a link to some new pics taken a couple of races ago.

I do not race, but I have two boys that race mini-quads......

I think the competition is fairly good......

Track is flat oval on Saturday nights and Moto-x on Sundays.

Moto-x track has a gate start with a short straight to a corner with a longer straight. Short section with 3 differnt lines of smaller jumps. Then a corner into a whoop section. Then a 180 into a double and a single. Then a right 180 into a step up into a double and a single and then a 180 back onto the longer straight.

It takes about 70 minutes to get there from Detroit Lakes.....

RacerDad.....
