Im looking into getting my frame powdercoated soon & I was just wondering what kind of prices have all you been paying to get yours done??

 

East Coast ATV charges $150 for a clean frame and $200 for a unclean frame

 

Do some shopping. When it comes to smaller parts, you can even powdercoat at home. Eastwood company has a nifty kit that really works great. Just have to have a spare oven.

 

Good point and its not too diffulcult after the first couple screw ups, but I wouldnt start out on a frame and most guys dont have a large enough oven anyhow.

I know a guy in PA that does a great job, uses professional PC equipment and even a real industrial PC oven (this is what most of the other little guys are needing).

Not sure on pricing but figure must be good because he is usually pretty busy.

Racing Quads powdercoats just about everything. I think they do frames for like $135 and you get a better deal the more stuff you send in to have done.

 

can u send in your whole quad to git painted do u got to take your moter off

 

Anybody thinking of getting anything powdercoated pm WISTECH first and see when he's sending in his next batch. He always gets like 20 parts from people so the prices per part are cheaper since they use the same batch. The more parts in an order the cheaper it is per part. I think he had a bunch done like a month ago but pm him and he'll be more than willing to help you out.
