I flipped on my TV last night and came across the made-up trash talking quad wars from Monster Jam on Motor Madness(TNN). I just want to know what you guys think about this. They talk a lot of trash, get in fights, get in each others faces, purposely ram each other, and fight with the crowd. A security guard had to stop a fan from climbing onto the track to fight because of one of the riders talking trash to him. Even though they set all of the ATV action up, I think it's pretty cool, it is still the jumping/racing action we love, and is exciting to watch. The thing is, this may make the real pros look bad, not to mention how it makes the overall world of ATV racing look. Like I said, though, it was entertaining, and they did a cool grudge match and other little cool things. For example, two guys put their front ends so that they were touching and hammered the throttle to see who was more powerful.

I think it could do without the fighting and trash talk..kinda tends to give the sport a bad name...

 

I agree with Dill. I wish ESPN2 would cover the quad GNCC or MX races like they do dirt bike races.

The first time i saw the Quad Wars i knew it was fake. How? Well the LT 250 R got beat!. That is totally fake.!

lol yea..I wish they would cover GNCC and GNC races more...I think there would be a large intrest of people who want to see the races...maybe write some emails to ESPN...

 

I agree with the RoostKing on the LT! I also agree with everyone else too, that QuadWars gives the sport of Quadracing bad publicity just when factories are getting back into sponsorship. ESPN should stop coverage and let us see the real races!

I agree there should be more Quad racing on espn and espn2. The only time you see anything about quads is on motoworld for about 2 mins. There is hope though for those of you that have Speedvision. Bryron Goggin is taping the GNC for them to be aired sometime this year. Lets hope ESPN will also do that in the near future.
