It depends on where you race. If its AMA you have to be 16. some tracks have no age restrictions.

Another tip on a motocross is to look at the person's lines in front of you but do not follow him. YOu can't pass him if you are directly in back of him. As for the other question you have to be 16 unless you race in a Outlaw race where there are no age restrictions.
