The best first place to start...If you want to see the rules and regs would be the AMA web site....They can send you any info you need...and have links to many different race districts. www.ama-cycle.org

I know I am getting a bit discouraged...Only a few of the local district 3 tracks (for me) allow quads on the track, and if they do race the quads...It is a bit biased....My last race was myself (Banshee) and about 6 other quads...a 300 ex, warrior, blaster, another banshee, wolverine?..(I mean really...It's nice to see that people want to race and have fun, but a wolverine on a motocross track)..In other words...It would be nice to have some classes. Or people with enough interest so that there can be more classes. It's hard for me to accept a win for a race, if I'm the only one in my class..... They should match up the quads better...Also...I wear full gear when I ride...I think I have a problem with people out there on a moto track in jeans, sweatshirt and work boots.I hear that other states have more interest though...either way...Good luck

Where can I get a set of rules for GNCC and MX. I am particularly interested in those covering hop up parts and classes. But all rules in general would be helpful.

saylt fmf.Dude dont put a bad word on district 3.I have been racing atvs at district 3 tracks for years. Thay started in the 3wheel days and today quads.Thay have an AM and expert class at every track.Every expert and most am riders have full mx gear. Allso all of the experts and many am riders have alot of aftermarket help. And many of them get more than the dirt bike riders. Many times there full gates and top national riders.

DIST.3 IS A GOOD PLACE TO RACE QUADS IF YOU ARE WORRIED ABOUT RACING AGAINST OTHER "RACE" QUADS THEN MOVE UP TO THE EXPERT LEVEL. THERE ARE SEVERAL FAST RACE QUADS AT JUST ABOUT EVERY TRACK IN DIST.3 WE ARE PRETTY LUCKY TO EVEN HAVE TRACKS TO RIDE ON SO DONT BE NEGATIVE
