Sorry about that, I heard about your quad 2nd or 3rd hand. It's fast, that's one thing I do know for sure!

Jay,

The only requirement is a helmet. Actually, I'm not even sure that is a rule because no one has tried racing without wearing one. Chain guard and leather jackets not required. I started wearing my leather jacket just to be on the safe side.

no problem ubetrun- I know how second hand ifo is. I have all my parts now so it won't be long.
I have made several changes since the last run- it's now got lighter shocks, a ported head, a bigger carb, a balanced and blueprinted bottom end, some chrome and powdercoat- it should be nice and fast too.

daren those are really good 60 ft times- my best so far is 1.53
I actually belive that it is quicker though because the rear tire is triggering the sixty foot beam- I have to review the film a little better to be sure.

I ran the Banshee again Friday night. Disappointed with the results. It got into the 6s again, but most of the time it ran 7.0 - 7.1. I geared it up slightly from17/41 to 17/40 and it just seemed like it wasn't pulling on top like it should. I think something is wrong, but don't know what. Guess I'll look into it some more this week.

I have a 2003 banshee with trinity pipes, cool head, and two in to one carb kit. I ran an 8.26 in the 1/8. and a 1.65 60ft time. My engine is completly stock inside, no porting or anything. I just put a 25 shot on it and we are going back to the track next friday.

Man it's been awhile since this post was up. Oh well, I'll throw in some new times. My stock cylinder 4mil with my 215lb on it went 6.88 at 97.57mph. That was with only a 1.58 60ft time. It was 4.39 in 330ft, also running CPI in frame pipes. Running the spray you have to make sure not to overwind it, keep the motor torque working for you. Good times for what you have though.
