what type of racing? you cant run any AMA races until your 16 though

how old do you have to be to race 300's-350's?

 

If you want to race gncmx,there is a class for 13-15 years old and they can race up to 300cc,so i'm pretty sure you can race your lakota.Most the quads racing in it are blasters,300exs,and mojave's.Someone else probably knows more than i do about it,but i'm pretty sure its something like that.

Oo yea i for got to ask if my lakota would have much of a chance against these quads w/ clutches...........or should i just try and get a 300EX or something else??

 

As for what other requirments,i'm not sure,but i'd say of course you need pants,long sleeve shirt and gloves.

Your lakota will be fine,even though its auto clutch you'll only loose a few quad lengths on the start.Then you have all race to catch a beat them,if you got the skill you can win with your lakota.I see you have an exhaust and rejetted,so i would recommend getting a k&n airfilter and a better clutch kit like k&g ( if you don't already have them).These two things will cost you around $80-$100.Another thing will be some better tires like razr or holeshot.With these things you'll get started pretty good.

 

thanXxX clover i dont have K&G plates and on the tires should i go down to some like 20 or something?

 

yeah go with 20's or 18's,but probably best with 20's and it will give you a little better acceleration.
