It's load like in the 95-100db range. It's awesome though. I chose it over a Fatboy 3

What about the Yoshimura.... I have read more reviews and peoples opinions that were for it, than for any other pipe. Do any of you have, or have had the Yoshimura set up. By reviews, it is the quitest pipe on the market. There are a few pipes with a slight advantage in horsepower gain, but not enough of a differance to sacrafice 4-5 db more in sound. Thx for any input!

dude, u need to check out the LRD pro4 system. if u get that with the stage 1 power up kit (jet kit, filter, filter plate, pre filter) it's supposed to give a 16 hp increase. it also has a quiet core insert for 20 bucks. check these numbers out:

all bikes have pro 4 pipe and power up kit

450r peak hp-44.7
yfz peak hp- 45.4
raptor peak hp- 46.4

this doesn't necessarily mean that ur gonna beat them every time, the 450r and yfz are a lot lighter, but you will definately give them a run for their money.

i'd get a wider rear axle, those raptors are quite narrow. the suspension on them is pretty good, you might tighten up the rear pre-load a bit if you feel like the suspension is compressing too much on take off. but softer suspension in a drag isn't a bad thing, keeps the rear wheels on the ground.

if your area isnt conserned about noise, than run a straight pipe. 20 bucks wouth of tubing, and a welder and you got urself the pest pipe for the money.

than again if you have a consern about noise, than got a yoshimura pipe. bust sound to performance out there

HMF is gettin awesome reviews on their exhaust systems. I trail ride my V-Force and my pipes are holdin up good. I haven't looked but I don't know if HMF makes a dual kit for your Raptor. That would be great to see yer raptor with a dual exhaust! FMF is also great. Got HMFENGINEERING.com. They tell you HP increases when you use their pipes. They even tell you what jets to get. You won't need a jet kit, just the main jets. Jet kits are a waste for the money. I got a dual exhaust for my atv and it made a big improvement. Next you just put the recommended jets in there and you are ready to kick some ***.

A great exhaust pipe would be Ct racing. I have installed one on my raptor and it adds great low end, mid, and top end power. It has a kit consisting of CT Pipe and Disc type spark arrestor, Pro Design Pro Flow air filter kit and jet set, which would make your raptor have 49.2 horsepower compared to 33.6 horsepower stock.
look at the site for more information = http://www.ctracing.com/raptor.htm
