The Martin team won again. Isn't this the same team that was taking shortcuts a couple years ago?
It's probably hard not to be tempted to cheat with companies like Bomb currently offering $10,000.00 US for a Bomb to win.
I think that the quads should be fitted with GPS units. (units that track a quads path) I'm sure some riders if not all use gps to find their way. There should be a gps unit used to keep track of the riders progress and they could refer back to it if there is any question of wrong doing. Maybe it could be checked at different points along the trail. It doesn't have to be used with all the riders. Maybe only the pro's.
Do they use anything to prevent cheating at this time?

They all cheat if they tell you different they are lying. The DS team is fast and they know the race rout better that most because they race it year round. I called SCORE about the suppose cheating and Sal Fish called me and we talk about it bottom line no cheating just some sore losers. SCORE is working on a GPS system but the races due not like because they will not be able to cheat.
