blasters are for small people.
You got some kinda pipe on the 300EX to get from stock HP (16??) to 23 with JUST a pipe ...

well in flat out racing the blaster has a pretty high top speed! the trick iz getting it there LoL i have a modded 250x and a blaster also the blaster is bored 20 over, FMF fatty pipe, V force reeds, 20' holeshots, 30mm D slide carb, and a K&N Its a spunky little bike but my 250x walks all over it! and i mean in ever category! the only way he even comes close iz Very Very long straight aways and then i still get him by a good margine,, thats just from what i have seen,, Im hunting down 400ex's On my 250x now,, When i drop my 12mm stroker crank and sparks Cdi box im hoping to be hunting some raptors and modded 400's but thats just me..

in stock form it would be a close race, with mild work done pipes jetting air filters and boxs the blaster will go faster for less ,geared properly and with the right tires the blaster is the one i would ride! been there done that! we raced a stock 400ex piped and jetted in tioga ny and got smoked by two blasters !so the 300 would have its hands full good rider or not!
