Why does everybody whine about reverse and e-start? I have never had a quad with reverse maybe thats why i don't care if it has one or not. As for e-start i had a Banshee and never did mind kicking it but it,s a 2 stroke. After my cousin put his cam, pipe,filter and jets on his 450r sometimes that thing kicks back and about brakes your foot. But if i was gonna own anything other than a yfz it would be a 450r.

 

i dont really know much about the 450R from personal experience, but i ride lots of trails, sand, and ALOT of road, and i know the big 660cc engine sure does like open spaces [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] the 660's pure CC really shines in 4th and 5th gear.

 

The Raptor is a nice machine. The day after Easter I was out in Glamis, CA on my Honda TRX450r. I have the HRC kit and all else stock. I consistantly beat a Raptor 660 that had k&n intake, pipe, and jetting. The Raptor is always better the first few feet, but as soon as the Honda (or a YZF for that matter) starts to rev, it's over.

I really like my TRX450.

 

 

My 450r is piped, jetted and has a stage II hotcam and will not kick back unless you pump the gas BEFORE you kick it. Don't do this and it will never kick back.
