head milling

Default head milling

hey i was wondering if anyone on here has ever gotten their blaster head milled? If so what do you think a good amount would be to be taken off? i was thinking of getting 0.30 takin off. Some suggestions would be nice. thanks alot

I think that is a fair amount. I just saw one that was .060 and it cracked into basically 3 pieces. I don't know if that is the cause, but yeah that head was JUNK.

Once you mill it you will have to use race gas.

Do you think that it will bring the compression up enough so that ill have to run race gas? It has about 120psi right now. Thats alright if i have to cause im not planning on doing much other than racing it. does anyone know aprox. what size jets i should put in there? Thanks for your help.
