Wow. I just read that Bill Ballance was riding his new signature series '06 YFZ for a photo shoot out in California, when he had no choice but to bail off the quad in mid-air and land on his own feet! Apparently he broke his leg in several places, and it looks like he's out of the contention for the GNCC title this year. Looks like Borich is going to wrap it up, unless Smiley or Yokley have something for him. That sucks for Ballance. So much for 6 consecutive titles. He'll have to start all over again if he wants to catch Barry Hawk's record.

Bill is feeling a lot better and has NO plans of giving up on the 05 championship.

 

I went to the Yadkin Valley Stomp yesterday and there was no sign of Ballance there. His little brother was there tho.

 

Bill's plan is only to miss a couple of races. He is in a lot of rehab and training. With the drops and a little luck, he may not loose the championship!

 

I have read (some place) he will be driving the new raptor in the GNCC, could sb confirm this information?
