Only about 1% of the people in this forum race. Most people are more content with just arguing about which machine is faster, rather than going out and proving it. Which is fine.
I used too think I was a great rider. Then I started racing, and it opened my eyes too what is actually out there. I am now a much better rider.
I too, would like too thank everyone for the helpful advice that I have picked up from this forum.

I've been racing for about 10 years on both 2 and 4 wheels. I find that while trail riding is enjoyable, racing is a passion. If you guys are like me, trail riding with your friends is fun, but, you have to wait around alot and let them catch up
BTW, any of you 400 riders got to ride a Raptor yet? I've got two friends getting them in the JAN/FEB timeframe and I'm looking forward to comparing it to my 400. Just wondering if any racers had any insight on whether or not it was going to be a good race quad. I never really cared for the Banshee, it was fun in the open but didn't handle to my liking in the tight stuff.

I have only raced 2 times.I used to think I was awesome until my freind brian lapped me!!Anyway racing is fun.My main prob is after the race is over.MY dad yells at me all the way home!Which is like 3 hours. So that ruins everything."you didn't do what I told you to at the gate""I told you to lift weights didn't I"I know he is only trying to help but he doesn't have to yell all the time.
My bike is ready but my body isn't.Another thing is alot of people in here don't own there bikes.(myself included)So there parents don't want them tearing there atv's up or risking there lives.I did have fun last time I raced though.I finished both moto's and got the holeshot the 1st time.
