After I restored my 88 YZ250 I took it out to the MX tracks at Fulton MO. Rode it for about a half hour when I noticed it was acting funny. In 3rd gear hard throttle it was kicking the rear tire sideways. So I stoped looked it over, then took off again. Top end of first gear I go to make a turn and over the bars sideways I go!!!!!!!!! Bars cliped my arms and I face plant into the ground. Had a helmet and goggles on so it did nothing but hurt my pride for a sec.
Ended up the front brakes locked solid and must have still had some air in them and worked its way out as I rode, so I had to re-adjust the front brake lever, then all was good. Only wreck on the 250 so far, but I have all the crash gear just incase.

yah well i just recently flipped my z400, bent like everything seems like, needs new bars, steering stem, mounts all betn, lights all smashed and the axel is bent. didnt get hurt that bad

 

i have 4 for yall.

1-i was riding a good wheelie yesterday at y buds house on pavement and u felt it about to loop out and i let go and fall on my left side and i got aq big ole cut on m left elbow and left butt cheek

2-i was riding in a feild with a freind,i was power slind at 50mph and it hooked up suddenly and it flung me off,all i rember is hearing "boom" then i backed out for like 2mins,my freind said that my hellmet flew like 20 yards from the impact!!!i was okay,just had a really sore back!

3-my freind has a 450r,well he somehow broke his grab bar,and he was riding a 70mph+wheelie and he looped out on pavement,lets just say he wont be riding for a long time.

4-one of my other freinds wasgoing up a hill,but didnt know there was a 10foot drop off in to a creek bed,well all of a sudden me and some buds see the bushes moving and no more quad,we all run up there and see my bud with his quad upturned in the creek and him hangging on to a root,he said as sonn as he saw there was no more land he just started grabing for something nd founfd a root halfy way up,his quad was allright ,justr got a pair of bent handle bars!!!

my suggestion for ya - get a new helmate the one your wearing doesn't have a big enough opening
i have used them before and i didn't like it compared to the dirt bike one i had/just from experiance
and boots!!!!

i had my foot tore off!! and it was dangling -yea reattached it 2.5 years later -still healing
i was a kid - lol and still am - i just want to help ya im 32 now and goggles, (tree limbs,rocks,or mud) - man anything can put your eye out - be carefull ok

i was at an mx track and i was comeing arround a corrner went in to a straght that led to my fav jump a table to and i yanked to late and ended up totaly vurtical in the air so i grinded my teeth and hoped 4 the best the landing waznt that bad i leand forwerds then back then the landing waznt so bad my step dad said i maid him rais his eyebrow a couple times but i never wrecked that day so its all good.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

 

last weekend we were riden at my buddies house and he let me ride his brand new yfz450 and it has about 300 worth of stuff on it and hes got an mx track at his house.i went a round a turn and there was about a 4 ft single right out of the turn and i went off of the jump sidways and the quad landed on me upside down.i ended up goin to the hospital and ive got a couple of broken and bruised ribs.i was lucky but the quad was even luckyer.
then my dad was on my 400 and was fishtailin the grass doin bout 40 and the quad went too far sideways and bit and he hit the ground and the quad did a complete flip in the air without touching the ground and landed on four wheels.We both ended up goin to the hospital and both had broken and bruised ribs.I guess like father like sone.lol
