Shock Re-Valve?

I'm planning on buying new front shocks for my 2000 400EX, and had a few questions. I was going to buy the fronts first, then buy the a-arms. Would all I need is a revalve when I get the a-arms? Also, are the shocks for +2 a-arms longer in length than shocks for standard a-arms? Or are they the same length, just with different mounting points? Thanks for your help in advance.

TCS shocks are the way to go. They are inexpensive for a zero pre-load shock. Also the rear on a 400 can be revalved to zero pre-load. Its a lot cheaper, but it just doesn't have the travel that the totally aftermarket has. If you order the shocks before you get the a-arms, order what you anticipate getting. If you order the shocks for +2/+1 they will still bolt on they will only be stiffer. Same goes with the rear, if you order for a longer than stock swingarm than the ride will be stiffer. When I ordered my shocks/a-arms/swingarm it was a world of difference. The bike handled like a dream. I felt more confidence when it came to jumping new jumps because it doesn't "hurt" to case some of them anymore.
