I just talked with the guys from Sparks this past friday and they said the 440 rule has been finalized. So this means they will allow the 440 4 stroke anywhere they previously allowed a 400 4 stroke. I dont know if everyone had already heard this final decision. I was told it had been decided about a week ago.

So does that mean where the 416cc was the largest bore you could have at nationals, you can now goto a 440cc?

 

Yes, but you are allowed no overbores as I understand it. You can only run the exact 440cc displacement maximum in the class.
