need help setting up for ice racing

i am also interested in ice racing, sounds cool,do u have any info on when and where the races are in ny. u would want to use a anti-syay bar like they use in flattracking i would assume and prolly lower both ends not really sure, i will try to get some setup advice from my boss(he used to race pro class tt..i would imagine the setup would be similar....

a sway bar is an absolute must. See a lot of guys get away with the stock front height but I like mine lowered. Use a durablue lowering kit or shorter shocks. Usually can make something yourself and save some $. Don't forget to check toe0in after you lowered the machine. Also, I am not sure what kind of machine you have but get a rear lowering kit (non linage machines) or an adjustable lowering strut (250R, 400ex, etc).
We use cheng shing 18 inch ice tires here with one stud in each **** in the rear. I have seen all kinds of front tires used but the most popular are holeshots and fast treckers. Do not over stud these, usually 2 studs in eack ffront **** is enough.Good Luck, e-mail me at berglundbradley@msn.com for further questions please.
