You should be able to do it on the Grizz given the right conditions. If you watch that vid, you can see where his inside rear wheel was lifting in a few places. That hardpack dirt road with a dusting of loose stuff on top is ideal, partly because it is smooth. If you slide off the hardpack onto the soft shoulder though, watch out as it may high side. ss97 is right on, snow or mud are great places to learn sliding. Just be careful out there and wear your saftey gear.

Ok will do. i will try and find some gravel and dirt on a paved or cemented road and see what happens. I might have to switch tires to a smoother tread so i dont grip to much

I would stay away from pavement for sliding. If those tires ever grab traction there will be blood, lol.

So i took my friends YFZ 450 out and tried drifting it. Its actually easier than i thought. i did a circle around two vehicles while drifting. alot of fun. I would buy a sport quad for just that. i tried on my grizz BUT its alot harder.

i have a 89 yamaha moto 200, the front left tire is extemely bold, so when i take
a right turn sliding is easy, even on asphalt., the other tires are almost bold.
