hi i have an all stock trx450 and it is super hard to start its almost brand new only and 07 i changed my spark plug and it still has to crank over alot and i have to play with the throttle and choke to get it started i would like to figure out how to fix due to i race and can't have a quad that runs like this during races thanks

i never have before....

 

That is likely your problem. These high strung 450's need frequent valve adjustments to stay in spec. Once they start to wear in a bit and get out of spec you will get hard starting.

If you want to do it yourself, buy a shop manual for it and/or find someone to walk you through it. There are plenty of online resources dedicated to the 450R Honda, you should be able to find a step by step on one of those as well. Otherwise take it to a shop, it should cost you about 1 to 1.5 hours labor.
