How do you get sponsors for racing? If anybody here has a sponsor or sponsors how did that work for you to get them and what are the advantages? Thanks

 

Hey Daredevil!! First, you need to put a resume together.....like the first page being about yourself(as in name, age, hometown, etc....then add in there your goals, how long you have been racing, what races you plan on attending that year, etc. And your next pages be your results.) Then I would start with ppl you know...ppl that maybe own a shop, or ppl that you know would like their business promoted. Tell them that you would put their name on your trailer(if you have one), on your quad, and mention them on all sponsor sheets. then worry about sending resumes out to others(like gear places, etc.) But the key is to get your resume in EARLY!! Most deadlines are the end of Oct for the following years sponsorships. Also be sure and send pictures!!! That is a big PLUS! Thats just alittle input....hope it helps!!

 

i must agree with sexymxlady also include some pics of you and your quad with action photos will also help.
guess what lady i was going to race nationals with my tecate as i told you before ,plans have changed due to my wife just buying me mike maniaci's roll design national #6 quad cant wait to hit the nationals now ..i have also scored some good sponcers this year.. as well as the help from shane hitt's mechanic to help me at the nationals this year!
